Review: Best click clack waste I've bought but beware! - I have fitted a number of sinks for myself and family members and the wastes can be a nightmare however this one is the best quality one I've come across, doesn't stick like some when push it down, seals and releases easily, fitting it was easy. Why is it the best quality? Because it comes with a soft silicone washer which does seal and a brass nut which is a massive plus, a lot of them come with a plastic nut which cracks over time if not when you're tightening it up! But beware, the leaking you will probably get is because you need to use teflon tape on the waste thread to stop the water dripping through. A simple fix and much better than trying to seal with silicone.

**Q: What is there a huge CE stamp on the chrome pop up clicker, i have purchased two of them but the logo stamp looks terrible as you think its dirty?**
A: I don't have any marks or logos on the chrome clicker dome.
Maybe you have a bad batch!?

**Q: In picture 3 (showing dimensions) it says “40mm (1 1/4) inches” for the threaded end. Surely it should be 32mm. Can you confirm which is correct?**
A: The measurement is 40 mm.
The 1.25 inch in the picture is incorrect, it is just over 1 9/16 inch (1.57 inch).
I replaced old traps and these fitted straight onto the existing U-Bends.

**Q: Does this have one slot or two for the overflow?**
A: 2 slots

**Q: Bought cheaper ones from another seller...£4 after a year the chrome has peeled off, is this because it’s cheap ? Are these good ?**
A: Unfortunately, I don’t know what you bought previously but it may have been coated plastic. These wastes are all metal - chrome plated brass and stainless steel. I would expect a coated brass item to retain its plating much better. I have purchased two of these in the past and been very satisfied with both. The last one I bought had much better seals than the first.
