Review: Throw the strings away and make it a decent guitar - The guitar itself is fairly good fro the price, but the strings really are the pits. I recommend you take the original strings off the moment the guitar arrives and replace them with something like D'Addario EJ27N Student Classics Normal Classical Guitar Strings. They cost about £5.00 and will transform the sound. The fourth, fifth and sixth string in particular will now sound musical unlike the ones you've just thrown away. You'll also find the new strings will hold their tuning way better than the junk ones. Overall this guitar with a new set of strings will make a really good student instrument.

Good guitar for what it is

The guitar itself is fairly good fro the price, but the strings really are the pits. I recommend you take the original strings off the moment the guitar arrives and replace them with something like D'Addario EJ27N Student Classics Normal Classical Guitar Strings. They cost about £5.00 and will transform the sound. The fourth, fifth and sixth string in particular will now sound musical unlike the ones you've just thrown away. You'll also find the new strings will hold their tuning way better than the junk ones. Overall this guitar with a new set of strings will make a really good student instrument.
