Every eyeliner I have used ends up transferring from my lash line to my upper eyelid in a messy way. This one doesn’t(or very minimally does). So right there it’s way better than any liner I’ve used. BUT- I tried to sharpen it with a standard liner sharpener and it really destroyed the tip. I’m not sure how to sharpen it any other way, and it’s a big pencil to only be able to use the tip that was exposed upon purchase. **Q: Any tips for sharpening? It seems like the wood is unusually thick and my sharpener cant sharpen it smoothly, it chops it up** A: Hi, I recommend that you put the liner in the freezer for approximately 15 minutes prior to sharpening it. Goes on smoothly, just make sure to let it set for 20-30 seconds before finishing your makeup. I have very oily eyelids and struggle to find anything that doesn't disappear into my lids after 2 hours, but this lasts through the day. (Some days when I get home, there is some transfer to my upper lid, but it's not terrible, and it generally still looks fine on the lash line.) I WISH they made an automatic pencil version of it, if so, this would be 5 stars all the way.
