We had 5 years to 62 years playing with these and we all had a blast! I believe these would be wonderful in any situation. If you have a large family I would go with the larger set but we took turns and all had fun. I have no idea if they float like they say they do but I'm sure we will find out with small people around- if it can happen, it will!
