Review: Best degreaser I've ever used - Recently moved into an older home that retained the stove but was an incredibly greasy mess. When my usual cleaner was not up to this herculean task, I remembered Mom's go-to cleaner for almost everything -- Stanley Home Degreaser Concentrate. I think this stuff could clean up an oil well! I reviewed the instructions and opted for the nuclear option of 1 tablespoon of the SHDegreaser to 1 quart of hot water. I wiped down the stove top and front, as well as the refrigerator wall positioned next to the stove. I allowed it to sit for a few minutes, then wiped everything down again with a clean wet towel. Success! The Stanley Home Degreaser removed all the icky, stickiness from the stove and fridge, leaving a beautifully clean surface. Now must tackle the oven.

**Q: Does this work on your wood cabinet**
A: Yes

**Q: Do you dilute or use as is on kitchen cabinets?**
A: It is very concentrated so I would dilute. The label says 1/2 t to 16 ounces of water.  I just used it on the bottom of my upright vacuum cleaner and it dissolved the built up grime very quickly.  I love this product.

**Q: Does it work on degreasing car engines?**
A: I would check with Stanley Home Products before trying it.  Not sure what method you would use.

**Q: How does this compare to the strongest dawn products?**
A: I think the Stanley product is better.  I use it if I have an especially difficult pot, pan or dish to clean.  Like a pan I cooked meatloaf in or the grates from the grill.  The Stanley product is very concentrated so you don’t have to use much and the bottle lasts a long time.  It also works great for washing my kitchen floor and the entry way floor by the garage.  I also use it full strength if my husband has a grease spot on his clothes.  I just put several drops of the Stanley cleaner on the grease spot and spread it around on the grease, let it sit a few minutes, and then put the clothes in the laundry.
