At just over 20mm thick, it's 20% thinner than a standard 120mm fan and over 40% thinner than our EX series radiators. Despite its size, the TX series offers both excellent performance and low flow restriction. This comes from the high performance copper and brass core, which features welded seam tubes and high density splitter fins. We further enhansed performance by designing fins which protrude past the tubes. This allowed us to increase the cooling surface area without increasing the external dimensions. This 20mm rad by xspc is top notch and have had no issues. If you need a slim rad avoid alphacool like the plague and get this one. Just to clarify I have never had an issue with 30mm or thicker on alphacool but the new slim rads are garbage. I am able to get a standard radiator and 25mm fan under it with 5-10 mm in between. So you don't really NEED to get one this thin? I have the 240 version with the cross flow and found it to be similar to a 120 standard radiator. YMMV. **Q: What size screws would i need to by to properly mount fans to this radiator?** A: Within the box they have longer screws to help you safely install fans to the radiator without damaging the fin stacks that are underneath. A GTX 1080ti and ryzen 2600 loop with 2 of these 360mm rads gives temps of 32°C idle and 45°C under load...in Texas heat with ambient temps of 27°C.
