I find these really helped elevate the dungeon crawls for my players as they really add something to the flat maps and 2.5D tiles that I use.They do come unpainted, but in multiple colors which allows them to blend in better with painted minis and colorful maps/tiles. If you want to finish/paint them as I am doing, there is very little flashing to remove and the pieces all contain a great deal of details. I found using a primer helps with coverage, but it not needed.There are a lot of bundles/products in the terrain crate line, and this box represents a sort of sampler platter of many of those kits. In this box you will get:About half of these crates:Treasury crate (if pieces are duplicated you only get one in dungeon depths)Dungeon debris (if pieces are duplicated you only get one in dungeon depths)Torture chamber (if pieces are duplicated you only get one in dungeon depths - and the hanging cage is not included)Wizards study (you only get one bookshelf and no ladder or desk in dungeon depths)Tavern crate (you only get the tables, chairs and stools out of this set)You get all the pieces contained in these crates:Throne roomDungeon trapsKings coffers (these parts are also counted in the treasury set above)Dragons horde (these parts are also counted in the treasury set above)If you dont have any of the terrain crate stuff listed above, this is a great place to start, especially if you combine it with the dungeon essentials crate, which adds doors, treasure chests, more bookshelves and weapons racks. In my opinion the only set that surpasses dungeon depths for value (although more expensive initial outlay) would be the GM starter set, which includes dungeon essentials, wizards study , kings coffers, dungeon horde, half dungeon debris and 32 miniatures. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad. *by A***T on Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2023* I'm an avid HeroQuest player and this kit has helped me add a ton of variety to my map. There's a little bit of warping on some pieces, but that's easy to fix by first dipping the piece in question into some boiling water for 15 seconds, molding it into shape, then quickly submerging it into ice water. It's also to be expected with plastic scatter terrain.My own complaint is that the tapestries really should come with a stand. That's honestly a fairly minor complaint. I recommend the product, especially for fellow HeroQuest players. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent 28 mm scale scatter for tabletop gaming! *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2018* This scatter terrain was bought for D&D gaming, but will work perfectly well for any 28-32 mm scale games. I bought this because a lot of these small pieces simply cannot be crafted to scale at home and the ones that can will not have the level of detail. Definitely a great value for the quantity and quality of what you receive.
