## Description

Product Description Ronseal Fence Life Plus gives 5 year protection on all rough sawn and smooth planed sheds and fences. It'll protect the wood from rain, frost and snow and won't lose its colour in the sun. It can be applied by brush or using a sprayer and can also also be applied to damp wood. Directions Fence Life Plus can be applied when the wood is damp, but not wet. So if it’s rained on the day of application, you need to wait for five hours before putting it on. The treatment can’t be applied in the rain. It needs to be a warm, dry day with temperatures above 10°C. Cold weather will stop it from drying. Clean the wood with a stiff brush to remove any dirt. Fence Life Plus can be applied with either a brush or sprayer. When brushing, check that you’re happy with the colour by applying it to a small hidden patch and leaving it to dry. If you are happy with the colour, get loads of Fence Life Plus on your brush. Apply a thick coat. Leave four hours for the first coat to dry. Check the fence to see if you need to apply another. When spraying, pour the Fence Life Plus into the tank. Pump up your sprayer or turn it on and start spraying. Use long, sweeping horizontal arm movements. Move along the full width of the fence panel, drop down and do the same again. Overlap each pass by 50% for the best coverage.

I have a 20-year old fence that hadn't been painted in at least the past 5 years making the wood very "thirsty", so it actually took 3 coats to get it to look 100% covered. You'll know when you get there because the colour suddenly deepens and the finish takes on a nice eggshell sheen.Was it worth the effort and expense? Absolutely! With the minor repairs I made along the way, it really does look like a brand new fence now from a sensible distance, and I doubt it'll need painting again for a good few years to come. Two of my neighbours have told me how nice it looks now, so that made it doubly worth it.It's dead easy to apply with a cheap brush and not much more expensive than the standard Fence Life paint, so I'd highly recommend this product if you're aiming for professional looking results from a DIY job.

people said it’s watery but the watery consistency made it perfect for applying to my fence. dries nicely, colour is a little bit greyer than i’d have liked (sage) but i like it nonetheless, would recommend painting on a cool day bc it dries quickly in heat and made applying it a little difficult as the day warmed up throughout the day. if you’re trying to do a full garden fence i’d recommend 2\3 buckets. leaves u with plenty to fill in the missing gaps and add another layer of necessary for maximum coverage.
