Locks are being used on two storage sheds and have withstood the hot rainy summers and cold snowy winters without any degradation of functionality. I was surprised that I've used them so long when I looked back at the purchase date. The dial still turns as good as they did when brand new. Both locks lost the black rubber cover, but that didn't affect the turning of the numbers.
