I have to say I was skeptical, but after receiving it (free one day delivery), I was beyond pleasantly surprised. So glad I got it.The look: I got the green, and it is such an interesting (in a totally good way!) and unique kind of green--a tasteful kind of green. The leather has a slight sheen but isn't too shiny. The pewter hardware is solid, sturdy, and does not have a cheap look. The fabric lining is a gray paisley on black background, and goes well with the whole purse. The strap is of the right width, not too wide. The whole thing is nicely sewn and constructed. Dimensions are well balanced, not too big/small--just the right size. Overall look is much more expensive than what you actually pay.The function: There are plenty of compartments, zippered pockets, and regular pockets to hold all of your basics. Open the main zipper and a zippered pocket divider separates the inside into 2 compartments. One of them holds another zippered pocket; the other holds 2 open pockets, one wider than the other. Outside, there is another zippered pocket built into the back of the purse. The front flap is closed via 2 magnetic snap buttons. The purse sits on a 5"x10" base without falling over. The top handle lets you have a comfortable grip. The purse as a whole is light enough. I bought this green one for my girlfriend. She was very excited the moment she got it and moved all her stuff to this purse at once. This medium size purse has plenty of room without too large. This bag is extremely well made 1) The outside leather of the bag is supple and soft to touch. The inside has a luxurious liner. 2) The zippers and other hardwares are solid. 3) All the seams are perfectly stitched with no loose threads. 4) The bag has thin straps with a bit of adjustment. 5) Very nicely packaged. And this olive green purse is really beautiful, can match many of her dresses and shoes. Actually, this purse soon become her favorite. I would say this is a great deal, better than her $200 bags! I like the shade of green, like the style, plenty of room for those who only carry essentials. So, the purse has an inside zipper within the flap that is suppose to attach with two magnets - one on either side of the flap. The magnets do not line up without spending time to try to attach. I cannot get both to attach at the same time without effort. They are very weak. So, when only using the shoulder strap, the flap not closing is not significant. But when you pick the purse up by the handle the whole thing opens up. This renders the purse useless due to the weak magnets. Gee....I wonder why the manufacturer did not put just one strong magnet in the middle???
