I like the float and have no issues clipping in or out (after the initial learning period, of course -- we've all fallen over while clipped in, but that has been due to cyclist, not equipment, failure). ### ⭐⭐ Couldn't get them to engage R540 SPDs *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 May 2019* Read a bunch of reviews and these seemed the most solid, however, when fitting new R540 SPDs I couldn't get the cleats to engage (despite pushing super hard). Swapped them out for the cleats that came with the pedals and then the Shimano cleats went straight in.The springs on the pedals were at the default, and don't seem that tight, and work fine with the OEM cleats... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far so good. Clips in very good and clipping out no problem.
