Board is really nice with the blue plies in between the natural plies giving it a sick look and grip is pretty quality. My only problem was only one of the wheels had a good bearing the other three do not spin nearly as easy as the one with a good bearing. But other than that I would definitely recommend this for anybody starting out or living somebody that wants a nice affordable deck ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great entry-level fingerboard at its price; axles too long, great foam grip tape *by A***Z on November 18, 2018* I have been fingerboarding since about 2010. I started as most do, with Tech Decks, then eventually got myself a higher-tier deck for about $30 with trucks and bearing wheels. The main thing to know about upgrading to a wooden fingerboard with foam grip tape is that it is much more comfortable for your fingers and much more responsive when doing tricks. I have tried the P-Rep fingerboards on Amazon, which are similar price, and have similar specs to this deck. Overall, I was very pleased with this fingerboard. The main negative of this fingerboard is that the trucks are 32mm to match the deck, but the axle of the trucks are very long. If you land too hard too often, you may end up bending the axles for this reason. The trucks come with spacers which I tried to use at first, but I found that my wheels would unscrew the nuts holding the wheels on the axle, and parts would end up flying, so the spacers had to come off to ride the deck. The problem with doing that is that now the axle of the trucks is sticking out and it scratches whatever surfaces I am fingerboarding on if the deck lands on its side. Another point I found was that with the bushings and washers for the trucks, my trucks ended up coming apart because there was too much tension on the nut holding the trucks together, and that was just through regular use. I had to take off the washers, and leave only the bushings so that I could ride the fingerboard, and this meant I had to ride the trucks loose, which I actually prefer, so this wasn't a big deal. What I will do to remedy these problems is to add the spacers back to the axles, then put the nuts on the axles, put all the washers and bushings back onto the kingpin, and then screw on all the nuts very loosely, and add a small drop of super glue to each nut to hold them on. I have done this with fingerboards in the past just to get a looser set of trucks. On the positive side, the fingerboard is very nicely made, and the graphic is very well-designed. I chose the "Hydra" graphic because I really liked the green and black colors. The graphic wears away in a satisfying way from grinds and slides. One huge advantage to this fingerboard over the P-Rep fingerboards on Amazon is the foam grip tape that comes with the fingerboard. This fingerboard tape is some of the best that I have used, and it seems to be getting better the more I use it. In comparison, the fingerboard tape that came with my P-Rep fingerboard was abysmal, and provided almost no grip. The bearing wheels on this board are solid single-bearing wheels, about as good as any I have used in the past, so no complaints there. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finger-Flipping Fulfillment *by F***A on December 6, 2018* Since entering the underground Fingerboarding scene in ‘94, I have dedicated an estimated 2,800 hours of my precious life to this under-appreciated sport. A waste of time, you say? On the contrary. The feeling of accomplishment when landing the perfect combination 360-inward-pop-shuvit-to-heelflip is equivalent (or possibly better than) that last-second game-winning half court shot or hail mary pass. If Kevin Durant or Tom Brady were to shred it out on the couch with a Fingerboard, they may re-evaluate their career decisions. While it may have slightly less spectators than other “sports” and provides an aerobic workout routine for only two digits, Fingerboarding deserves to be included on the list of premiere American past-times. I know my fellow Fingerbuddies would agree.Tech Decks were my gateway drug, but I soon realized that these were merely cut-rate children’s toys. There is no substitution for the genuine high-quality replicas, and Origin Fingerboards are no exception. Their solid wood deck, sturdy metal trucks, and exquisitely-textured grip tape provide control, precision, and stability that match the best on the market, at a far more affordable price. I plan on saving up to buy each one of the gnarly graphics — a Kraken for my keychain, a Hell for the office, and a Hydra for my bedside — so kickflip bliss will always be a finger’s length away.All hyperbole aside, these Origin Fingerboards are seriously a very high-quality, well-constructed product that will provide endless hours of entertainment.
