Simple to install the adapter on to the AR lower.Cons:ICD should have made it clear that this adapter only accommodates Mil Spec size grips – any grip that is taller at the top and/or longer at the bottom does not fit properly. If too tall, the Safety cannot be operated; if too long at the bottom, the 1911 grip panel extends past the adapter and is in danger of getting chipped. Both of the two aftermarket 1911 grip panel sets I have were too tall to fit and too long at the bottom, so I had to grind (the lower cost) set. I should have simply bought the competitor’s much lower cost adapter since I had to grind to fit anyway. For the price, should have standard 1911 escutcheons and screws instead of having to use (ugly) 6-32 screws or drill and tap the adapter so that nicer screws can be used. Heavy – could be designed and made to have less weight. Does not replicate either regular AR feel or 1911 feel. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect fitment, quality grip converter! *by C***S on June 24, 2019* Fitment is perfect on my AR10 precision platform. I have the actual full size 1911 grips on order so we shall see how those fit on to this grip converter. In my experience grips themselves fit differently based on manufacturer.This converter is a perfect bolt on replacement for the ability to run 1911 style grips, change the grip angle to something more familar or ergonomic and spruce up the style with a touch of customization.Will be ordering another for my AR15 Recce build. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not a perfect look. *by W***G on February 14, 2019* It is an ar grip with holes put in to hold 1911 grips. If your looking for a grip that is aesthetically pleasing, this isn't it.
