It’s functional, and light weight. Review: Heats decently. Silicone cable, grounded tip. Temperature reading 120C lower than original. - I'm using this iron with my FX-888D. It works fine except the temperature was about 120C different than the original iron. It heated in quickly and drew the same amount of power initially as the original (~120W). Handle is comfortable, with a good rubber sleeve. Cord is is as flexible as the original and is definitely silicone and didn't melt when I held hot iron on it. Tip is properly grounded. It seems durably-made. Plugging in and installing a tip was just as easy as on original. I had to set temperature about 120C lower with this iron than original, to melt the same solder using the same tip. The thermistor reads at 38 ohms vs 55 on original at room temperature, which may account for the difference in temperature readout. I did some measurements in comparison to the original.
