Review: hefty non stick pots and pans - update Nov 10th 2025 I bought this set on July 30th 2025 and have been impressed with them. So far has remained as non stick as the first time using them, they cook evenly if let them heat up slightly at a lower power level on induction cook top. They are triply and it does take a little time for the heat to spread evenly across the pans. When cooking the top of the pans will be hot as well as the bottom of the pans. The level of heat needed to cook with triply is lower then one would think, it's like cooking with stainless steel pans... it takes longer to heat up and it tends to make you want to turn the heat up but higher heat levels tends to cause stuff to burn. I liked these pans so much I did buy a second set plus the COOKER KING 1.5 Quart Stainless Steel Saucepan that matches this set. Since getting the induction cook top it's all I've been using for cooking and with all my 15 plus year old pans not working on induction I did need a new set of pans. --------------------- I really would give this set a 4.5 stars because the lids were not well thought out. The lids fits the two pots and the small lid fits the small frying pan but the big lid almost fits the medium frying pan. By almost is that while it does sits on top of the frying pan there remains a slight space at one side of the frying pan. It fits well enough for most things but if trying to steam something like fried wantons the steam kind of leaks out one side. None of the lids will fit the big frying pan, I do have a big lid from another frying pan that fits but there isn't a lid for the big frying pan in this set. As for the pans themselves. I was kind of worried about the etched surface feeling rough that they would stick when cooking... but they haven't. I bought an induction hot plate and needed a good induction set of pots and pans but wouldn't cost a fortune. The set being tri-ply they do heat evenly and on the induction heat quickly. I'm still getting used to induction cooking, the power level for induction is less then would expect for cooking. To simmer something it's 200 (watts) setting does keep stuff at a simmer. To give something like a burger a crust 700 works well. I've tried out the 1,000 setting but it doesn't really seem to need that much power. I haven't tried these on a radiant cook top but like most tri-ply pots and pans they likely would use a lower heat setting then someone would think would be needed. Tri-ply tends to heat more evenly but stainless steel can take a little longer to heat up compared to single layer aluminum which tend to make people crank up the heat more then needed and then stuff burns and sticks. Stick test... I've cooked both omelets (at 400) and pancakes (at 600) and both cooked very well. The biggest problem I had was trying to get a spatula under them for flipping as they tended to get pushed by the spatula around the pan instead of the spatula sliding under them. So at least when new the pans are non stick. Time will tell how long that lasts. Using the big frying pan on my induction hot plate the pan was much bigger then the induction area so had to cook one bigger about 6 or 7 inch pancake at a time in the center of the pan. It worked well, and to get the spatula under the pancakes to flip was a matter of lifting the pan up quickly so the pancake became slightly airborne and quickly sliding the spatula under the pancake, tilting the pan to help get the pancake to slide onto the spatula, set the pan back down and flip pancake into pan. Cleaning the pans is easy as nothing has stuck to them, a soapy sponge with warm water does the trick. Actually a good spray with hot water seems to do the trick by itself but I wouldn't consider anything clean if soap wasn't involved. The pans do have some heft to them and are not light as aluminum would be but then again aluminum wouldn't work on induction. The lids are flat and not dome shaped which would need to be taken into consideration if needing to use a lid on the frying pans (I like sunny side up eggs on toast and using a lid to cook the eggs on top with a small splash of water near the end of cooking for some steam to get that white top to the yolks, but eggs are not tall so shouldn't be a problem).
Review: Really good material - "I’ve been using this 10-piece cookware set and I absolutely love it! The pans are so pretty and look amazing in my kitchen. You can tell right away that they are made of high-quality materials. They have a nice weight to them, which gives them that sturdy, high-end feel. Cooking and cleaning with them has been super easy. 10/10 recommend!"
