Loved them when first opened box. Packed well. Tried to put fresh flowers in, and no matter the length of the stem, the weight of the flower head caused the entire stem to fall out. The stems cannot be held by the container because it's so large in comparison to the size of flower and stem that one would want to display in this container and because the water makes them float. I tried with no water, and same thing happened, so I don't think they will work with silk flowers/plants either. The current picture on Amazon does not show the hole as low as on the ones I received. I missed the return window because I'd planned to use them for Valentine's Day decorations. I didn't think to put flowers in to test them upon receipt. They are the perfect size and the hole is placed so nicely. They retain moisture because of the vent placement, and it provides support for the plant. I didn't read that there were 2 per package, and I was really surprised that I got 2 of them for this price.
