Pond but we had issues with it freezing up the pump...not anymore with this it keeps it from freezing. It's been in the low 30s and still not freezing i also like the fact that it turns off and on at a certain temp so it doesn't run constantly. It would be better if it had a thermostat control that I could set personally, but the fact that it turns often on based on the water temp is also a help. And I haven't seen any change in my electric bill. Review: eh - worked well , for about 2 months, then completely dead. if you live in a super cold winter time climate, I wouldnt recommend. Mild climates I am sure it would be fine. ## Features - Sturdy Aluminum Alloy Material:Our pond deicer water tank heater is made of sturdy aluminum alloy, which is safer and more efficient, Simply fully immerse the de-icer in water and plug it in to use it, very convenient - Efficient Thermostat Control with LED Indicator:Comes with upgraded working LED indicator ,When the power is connected and the temperature is at 48.04°F,the LED indicator light turns red,When the temperature drops below 48.04°F, the LED indicator light turns green, which is safe for animals(The temperature error is around ±5°F.) - Floating Pond Heaters for Outdoor Ponds with Fish Design: Can be used as a floating pond deicer,Floating Pond De-icer for Outdoor,built-in structure that allows it to float on the pond without sinking, Heating element must be submerged in water at all times when in use - Heater Water Trough Power Cord:Our power cord has a 9.84 ft anti-rub power cord, designed for 110/120 volt electrical current only ,The outdoor pond heater has built-in overheating and power-off protection (attains 95℉) - Multi-functional Pond Deicer:We have three different wattage outdoor livestock water de-icers for you to choose from;250W for up to 25 gallons,500W for up to 50 gallons for and 1500W up to 150 gallons and bath sand Pond ,Designed for versatile use around the home or farm,Common applications for de-icing outdoor watering troughsnd bird baths Chicken Water Heater,Small pond, water buckets, animal waterers ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #186,674 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #66 in Pond De-Icer | | Customer Reviews | 3.6 out of 5 stars 7 Reviews | ## Images ![1000 Watts Floating Outdoor Pond Heater,Pond Heaters for Outdoor Ponds with Fish,Thermostatic Control Horse Water Heater with LED Indicator,Large Stock Tank De-Icer for Outdoor Winter - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81M6asJPORL.jpg) ![1000 Watts Floating Outdoor Pond Heater,Pond Heaters for Outdoor Ponds with Fish,Thermostatic Control Horse Water Heater with LED Indicator,Large Stock Tank De-Icer for Outdoor Winter - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71WDHfVQo+L.jpg) ![1000 Watts Floating Outdoor Pond Heater,Pond Heaters for Outdoor Ponds with Fish,Thermostatic Control Horse Water Heater with LED Indicator,Large Stock Tank De-Icer for Outdoor Winter - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81wzgk0-wpL.jpg) ![1000 Watts Floating Outdoor Pond Heater,Pond Heaters for Outdoor Ponds with Fish,Thermostatic Control Horse Water Heater with LED Indicator,Large Stock Tank De-Icer for Outdoor Winter - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ThMZJoJ1L.jpg) ![1000 Watts Floating Outdoor Pond Heater,Pond Heaters for Outdoor Ponds with Fish,Thermostatic Control Horse Water Heater with LED Indicator,Large Stock Tank De-Icer for Outdoor Winter - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81dKZv4BpbL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keeps from freezing my pump *by R***N on December 4, 2025* Our old heater stopped working so hubby bought this and im glad he did it has done a great job in keeping the water from freezing We only have a 250 gal.
