This book is a very useful companion to have for your studies. The book contains 5 sections each containing chapters to help you though your studies and placements. The book is written to give advice and information about care, compassion and communitcation but goes into more depth in leadership and management in healthcare. It relates to the 6C's of nursing which are key for your nurse training. The book also used references throughout from key reports and guidlines in the NHS, for example NMC and NICE guidlines, and the Francis Report. I would highly recommend this book to student nurses starting their course it really is worth having a read through and will certainly help you with upcoming assignments and give you advice for placements.
