I explained that I had replaced the transmission conductor plate, TCM connector, fluid and filter. All I needed was to have my codes cleared to check my work.The service writer said it would cost $189.95 + tax to pull, and clear all faults. I told them to do it. 45 minutes later, I was told my car would have to an extensive assessment, as my car was now in "CRITICAL" Limp Home Mode.I smiled, took my keys and drove home slowly. That night I ordered the Foxwell NT-530 with 38 pin access scanner. Two days later, (one day early!) I received the order. By the next afternoon, My car was out of limp mode, and working perfectly.This is the first scanner I've owned or used. It was almost effortless. The instructions were unclear, but the unit made up for it with obvious prompts. I was able to interface with my TCM to search for any fault codes and I found several (mostly false due to sensors being disconnected at the time). I was able to clear the false codes to see what would reoccur as hard fault codes, and I only found one. Without a scantool with a 38 pin multiplexer, you will never be able to clear any hard fault codes in any modules, so this scantool already has paid for itself in its many uses!
