Review: If you have had bunion surgery, this is a GAME CHANGER!!! - I had bunion surgery and a screw put in my foot and was told to sleep with my foot elevated and in a still position. I had a terrible time sleeping with the stiff shoe that the dr had given me, but was too nervous not to wear anything. Even with the stiff shoe, it hurt to have the weight of the blankets on top of my foot!! I found this boot on desertcart and figured that I had nothing to lose. It has been a LIFE SAVER for me. The boot comes up just high enough past my toes that I can put blankets over my foot and it doesn't hurt. The fabric is plush and soft, and the velcro is tight enough that my foot stays in place but doesn't restrict my circulation. I am finally getting a normal nights sleep again and my foot is healing. I would recommend this to anyone that is recovering from foot or ankle surgery to use at night. It is worth the price x 10.

The padding is very adequate for protecting my injured ankle while in bed. The velcro straps are very thick, stiff & sturdy. This could injure my skin on the top of my foot. I make sure they are not too close to the touch my skin. The edging on the 2 velcro straps could rub a raw spot on the top of my foot, by accident. May I make a suggestion? The white pieces of material used to secure the velcro straps in place, are going to eventually start fraying from rubbing against each straps. Anyway to rethink how you could remedy these straps , so they last longer I'm praying this fraying will prevent
