Finally, a KS3/U.S. middle school level English text book that teaches grammar, writing, and reading comprehension by igniting the imagination of the student.  Most children with well educated parents/guardians have the advantage of intuitively understanding standard grammar and syntax as a result of what they have heard and read when they were at home as they grew up.  They know what sounds and looks right.  Other children can gain an intuitive understanding of what sound and looks right by reading well chosen literature and being given ample opportunity to write, under the guidance of a knowledgeable educator, about subjects that should be of interest to them, rather than endlessly parsing a multitude of sentences and memorizing grammatical rules.
