This plastic pen holder has rings that can be changed to show the date (which I honestly won't use most of the time), but it also has a hidden compartment to hold supplies, money, or whatever you desire. I like this feature and use it for storing paper clips to keep them handy. What I also like is the plastic surface that washes or wipes clean easily. It also won't have pencil or pen marks at the bottom of the cup because so far, these are easily wiped off (I know this wouldn't bother most people, but it does bother me and I like that I can easily clean or remove these marks.) The graduated color scheme is, well, just delightful and adds a bit of decoration to my desk. The price is great and I think it is a good value.
