Comes with a handle as well as shoulder strap. purchased small 6x9 mailing envelopes to organize birth certificates, passports, deeds, registrations, credit card list, etc..Think about it, if you had a fire in your home and had to evacuate in minutes, would you be able to hoist up a 50 lb. safe and run out the door or just grab this bag over your shoulder as you head to safety. Planning on purchasing these bags as Christmas gifts instead of a sweater or jacket they may never wear.

The bag is as described and fits my document needs for the most part (I may think about a second bag for more documents should I have additional need.) It is lighter and easier to carry than hard case document holders. It is well made. I cannot confirm or deny it's fire/water resistance since I have been fortunate enough not to have had it be tested. From its description, however, I have confidence that will prove as good as a hard fire resistant locking box. They all have their limits, some of which are based on closeness to and degree of heat source as well as length of time in heat or water.
