Does this mean it expired march 24th (a few months ago), or that it will expire in march of 2024?** A: That's 2024. I've bought coffee syrup for years and that's the year. Also good news is that in reality syrup itself doesn't truly expire. It can lose its flavor but that seems to depend more on the flavor. I use Starbucks chestnut praline syrup clear into July. Unless there's mold in it or bugs in it it won't make you sick. We've used pancake syrup three years later and it was fine. Sugar, molasses and maybe honey can just lose it's strength like perfume can but no sickness.
