Haven't tried to put a mix drink in it yet, but I doubt I would have any problems doing so. It is very simple to disassemble, so clean up is a breeze! The only improvement I would make for this item would be to have more heavy duty hose clamps where the hose attaches to the bottom of the tube. They are very cheap at any hardware store, so you can get that yourself no problem.
