That's my first complaint, the description was deceiving. My second complaint is the box desertcart packed it in was huge and it appeared to me as if the whole thing punched it's way out the end and one of my "pair" was missing, the entire box was pretty much destroyed. The "remaining" brace had a slightly damaged center bracket. So I arranged with desertcart to return my purchase as I told them one of the "pair" was missing. They shipped a replacement "pair" and I was to use the box the replacements came in to pack up and ship back the original order. When my replacements arrived I was very surprised to see that there was only one brace in that box too. When I went back to look it up on desertcart I noticed that the description had been changed to indicate that a pair meant the two telescopic pieces! To make a long story short, I ended up keeping (and paying for) both braces and sucking up the loss. As for the braces, they work fine and are easy to install and adjust. They absolutely work as advertised and do a good job of helping to add stability to my assembled wooden gates (each gate is 6' by 6'). After the new gates had dried and shriveled (pressure treated wood) I went back and adjusted and since then they've been fine. If I'd known what these were gonna cost me to begin with (since they really weren't a "pair") I doubt I would have spent the money. Having said that, if you're looking for a solution to a sagging gate, these really do work. Review: Quality Product - I am very impressed with the quality of this item. Both side of my gate began to sag and were dragging on the ground. I researched different options and because each section is 6'x8' I didn't have a lot to choose from. I like the strength offered with this product and ordered 2 of them. The install was very easy and took less than a half an hour per side. (Even less for the second one). The trick of using a shovel and shims to lift the gate to the desired starting position was so helpful. Once installed, adjustments were so easy and the gates no longer sag or drag on the ground. Well worth the cost of the item. ## Features - ⏱️FAST EASY ADJUSTMENTS WITHOUT POWER TOOLS: Fast and easy adjustments to your gate anytime you need.
