Easy to install! Once the back is opened about β…“ of the way the struts kick in and the liftgate pops up. They have a lot of lifting power! Hope the last - time will tell. Will update if they have an untimely demise. These QiMox struts do seem to be well built when compared to the pair they replaced. The original stock kia struts (part# 81771-1U000) only lasted 4 years, the next pair of struts (purchased at advanced auto) lasted 6 years.They are really well priced! The lowest price we found for Kia struts (part# 81771-1U000) was $140/pair. Ouch! These QiMox struts purchased in July 2022 were less expensive than the pair we purchased at advanced auto 6 years ago ($22.90 vs $39.99). The same liftgate struts at advance auto are now $50.98/pair.
