Review: Wonderful Tool! - I am about to buy my second one! I love this book. I used it a year ago to track exercise and calories. I lost about 30 lbs over 3 months by logging everything in this book. I ran out of pages, so I decided to try living without it. I've tried a number of apps of on my iphone, but this book really is the simplest, quickest way to log workouts. It does only give spots for 4 sets of each exercise, but there are plenty of other places to write additional info. You can also squeeze 2 sets into one slot, if you write really tiny, or just use 2 lines. I like that there are spaces to record strength training and spaces for recording cardio. There is also a section for other activities. On days that I didn't do strength training, I would write the cardio that I did in that space on the day before and just record the date. I didn't want to waste a page for just cardio. I didn't use the food diary very much because I track my calories on-line with Fitbit. However, it is nice to have a place to write the calories totals the Fitbit gives me each day. There is a place at the back of the book to record weight and measurements. I eventually ran out of room there. I weighed more often than weekly, so I started recording weights and measurements in the "Games and Competitions" section. What I loved about this book: 1. You can record a lot of information in a small space. 2. It isn't too big to lug around the gym. 3. The ring binding is the right size for a pencil with a big eraser, or for a clip-on pen. 4. The plastic cover won't rip off. 5. The spaces are flexible enough that you can record info in a way that is convenient for you. 6. It has a plastic sleeve in the back that is handy for slips of paper, business cards, cash, etc.
Review: Great product to monitor your fitness and food intake - I love this journal. I use it daily to record my fitness activities and meals. The journal is easy to use and provides space to record your cardio activities (e.g. treadmill, elliptical trainer), your strength-training exercises, and other miscellaneous activities. For strength training, the table allows you to record your repetitions and weights. You can also record your meals and snacks throughout the day. This is useful if you are tracking your calorie intake. There's also list of common foods and their calories at the beginning of the book (there's space to add to the list). If you are trying to lose weight or simply track the number of calories you are consuming, recording this information does make you feel more accountable for what you eat and makes you think twice before eating something you really shouldn't. Prior to the Bodyminder journal, I had used the Fitlosophy Fitbook, which is also a nice fitness journal, but costs twice as much as the Bodyminder and has less space to record your activities. The Fitbook also doesn't have space to track the number of calories that you burn and intake; a feature that I like. If you are looking for a simple (no frills) and easy to use journal, I highly recommend the Bodyminder. It's thin enough to stick in your gym bag and gives you the flexibility to start/stop recording your activities, whereas the Fitbook always started on a Monday. When I'm finished with this journal, I plan to purchase another Bodyminder journal. It just takes a couple of minutes a day to record your activities and food intake, which is well worth the time if you trying to get or stay fit.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for logging workouts

I purchased this to keep track of my weightlifting workouts. I've never been one for recording thing into fitness app since I prefer paper. I like this because it has everything you need and nothing you don't need. there is ample space for logging your lifting routine or cardio sessions. There a good amount of space for comments if maybe you injured yourself or for anything out of the ordinary. Easy to read and I like that it gives you enough space to write big enough to read what you've wrote. I've used these for 5 or so years now and can tell you that when I go back to look at my old programming or workouts I can't still understand what I was doing fully. Great little book I would Highly recommend.
