Review: 5 stars based on appearance only. - Full disclosure: I have NOT used this set yet. It is a present for someone next month, so my review is based entirely on viewing it, NOT using it. I'm only reviewing it because currently it has no reviews, and that made me leary about ordering it. I bought this thinking it was plain and I could paint owls on it. (Pictures show a design, but only if you look closely.) For the price (I paid $30 September 2018), I'm working around the design. It is the cheapest full tea set I could find, after looking for months, that fit my needs. The quality is nice, and it doesn't seem any more or less fragile than your average china. I had to pull pretty hard to get one out of the box and didn't break it, so that's a good sign. I like the look of it, the cup size is perfect. I couldn't swear it is bone china, but neither could I tell you it's not. I can't tell. In all, if you're just looking for a low priced tea set, you've found it! I wish I had storage space for one for myself!
