In my research, I can find no evidence of any of the materials used in our manufacturing process showing up on the CA95 list of substances. While not explicitly stating this product is compliant, we can find no evidence it is not. **Q: What materials are these mats made from and coated with?** A: Silicone grilling mats rated to 500f. Silicone in many of it's forms all have a high temperature rating. Silicone also known for it's none stick surface and food safe surface. These Mats are all silicone I would guess no surface treatment was done. **Q: Can this be used on an outside gas grill?** A: Yes and it works well for seafood, veggies and burgers! **Q: Will it fit a traeger 780 model?** A: I am sure one size will fit . They are well-made and sturdy. 2 of them covered my small grill surface completely. ***The directions say, no hotter than 500 degrees, and they mean it!*** I had closed the lid for a bit too long, and the temp did rise a bit above 500, and the binding on the edge of one of the mats lifted, and part of the mat was slightly "burned." I grilled hamburgers on one side, and asparagus on the other. These were great because nothing stuck to them, and there was no way that anything would fall through to the grates below. Both burgers and asparagus cooked evenly and easily. Cleaning the mats up afterwards was a simple thing, using some hot, soapy water. I am forever transformed! I usually detest grilling, for the mess, for the food falling through the grate, and for the clean up. After using on my gas grill at varying temperatures, they have performed fine with vegetables, fish and steak. When cooking salmon, I positioned the fish on the upper half of the mat. With a set of tongs, I grabbed the mat and carefully flipped the salmon over onto the lower half of the mat without destroying the fish. Pretty simple and a lot easier to clean up than a grill basket.
