NOT Reef-safe
The Ahihi Marine Preserve here on Maui, Hawaii, lists sunscreen ingredients that damage coral reefs. These include Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate, and Octocrylene -- ALL of which are contained in AOS sunscreen. Unfortunately, I did not know this when I purchased the AOS sunscreen, which was listed as "reef-friendly" in its Amazon description. In fact, I believe AOS is probably a pretty good sunscreen for use on land, BUT it should not be worn in the ocean if you are concerned about the health of coral reefs. The rangers at the marine preserve are adamant: the only safe sunscreens are those that contain zinc or titanium oxide.

Excellent product especially if you sweat
I saw an IG feed on this and took a chance and bought this sunblock and some soap. Let me start by saying that I like to sweat and about 90% of the sunblocks out there run into my eyes regardless of what the packaging says. I’ve tried this sunblock at a 5k run and a hike and so far this one has worked for me. It goes on light and absorbs easily. So far I haven’t had had problems with this sunblock running into my runs which is awesome! The scent is a nice too, doesn’t smell like a typical sunblock.

Swim like a dolphin
I've always had an affinity with the ocean, and longed to be amongst the creatures of the sea. However, one small problem. I'm whiter than a ghost, and the enormous amounts of spf 50 sunscreen would weigh me down and prevent me from truly frolicking the ocean like the man fish I knew I was. UNTIL NOW! Art of Sport sunscreen is light weight while still offering skin protection, so you too can swim like a dolphin, and still not get burned 😋 the last person to be this excited about a product was Downer, when he realized they were selling dollar salads at Wendy's on York Road. Or Joe Snakes, when he recovered his fake teeth from a sandwich wrapper in a Royal Farms garbage. Or Ronny and t-saw when....I'll leave that one alone. All I'm saying is you want to swim like a dolphin, get some Art of Sport sunscreen!!

Excellent for men or women (even for everyday use)
I love the SPF for many reasons but for starters, it's lightweight and not greasy. I bought it for me and my husband to wear everyday. I wanted it to be lightweight, non-greasy and not to have a smell so I could wear it under my make up. I've had a hard time finding something that does all of those things and have purchased MANY items in the women's space for SPF. I didn't have high hopes for this although the reviews were good. I suspected it would be good as an SPF but not as an everyday SPF for a woman underneath her makeup. I WAS WRONG! It's excellent. No smell. Absorbs quickly. Non-greasy. Not pasty. Not runny. Doesn't make your face look white. Lightweight. I can put on my makeup almost immediately after applying it and have no problems. My husband also loves it. He uses it daily on his face and shaved head and it does its job. We've also taken it to the beach and it's been great there too. We couldn't be happier with this product for both my husband and myself. After years of searching, we've finally found a product that works for us, and that's no easy feat finding something for a woman! :-)

Does not protect against UVA rays well at ALL.
As you can see this is my neck where I applied it and wore a t shirt. Walked around for 2 hours in hot sun. This is pics of the next day...UVA rays cause cancer and tanning, and deep skin damage like wrinkles, and this doesn't block them well Whatsoever.A little bonus is that I emailed this company Twice asking what the difference was between this and Neut. W helioplx. Zero response...I asked how well this blocks UVA...U..V..A.. rays, no response from the company. Even when I left a question up there..Bulllfrg is still king, and although this is a decent UVB blocker, it doesn't protect much against UVA which is what matters. I still use the Japanese, and bllfrg. Because they seem to be the only ones to do the trick..but the Japanese ones aren't AS strong for lots of sweat, the blfrg gel is amazing for all, but is somewhat sticky.Goodbye.

Two complaints: NOT REEF SAFE & I was put on AOS mailing list unknowingly
I cannot use the AOS sunscreen I just purchased on my scuba trip this fall. Art of Sport (AOS) sunscreen is advertised to be reef safe, but that is not true. FACT: AOS sunscreen ingredients like Avobenzone, Homosalate, octinoxate, octisalate and octocrylene are not reef safe ingredients. My second complaint is that I was placed on a mailing list when I purchased AOS sunscreen. I LOATHE solicitous, unwelcomed advertising coming into my personal mailbox at home.BUYER BEWARE.

Makes me break out
I started jogging again outside lately and it is brutally hot in Florida where I live so I decided to buy sunscreen and came across this on my search. I saw it didn't have any bad ingredients so I decided to order. Almost immediately after applying it to my skin I started breaking out on my face and arms and my legs sting when I put it on.The sunblock seems to work, but I'm still tanning like crazy so maybe its just preventing me from burning. The worst is that today when I was jogging and sweating the sunblock started running and going into my eyes which was not very nice, had to keep wiping it away.I probably would not order it again.

Stays on while swimming
I applied this sunscreen before swimming in an outdoor pool. The sunscreen remained in place for the entire swim.It rubs into your skin pretty easily, so it's visibly unnoticeable. But I could tell that it was still there even after a long swim. I liked that it has a pretty neutral smell, compared to a lot of sunscreen which has intense fake "tropical" smells.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a sunscreen that will stay on through a swim or a lot of sweating.
