Review: 03 Ford Mustang Mach 1 - Motorcraft parts are extremely reliable. This was an easy and cheap part to replace. I believe I probably had the original camshaft sensor on the car so I replaced it even though I was not having a problem. Disconnect the Negative Battery terminal before you begin. Take a little motor oil and rub it on the part that goes in the engine block. This will help the part slide in. I just took out my oil dipstick and got a little oil. If you are throwing code P0340 then this will probably not solve your problem as you will probably need a new Alternator.
