**Q: Desc says "don't use stepped pan filter". but i thought the '97+ stepped pan was the "deep" pan and used the "deep" pan filter?**
A: the stepped pan filter and pan are for the deep pan. just make sure to compare filters upon install. we used the deep filter on our install. fit on our 2002 trailblazer ltz

**Q: Will this pan fit a 4l70e?**
A: I do not know the answer to that

**Q: Does it  fit 87 r10 700r4 2wd chevy**
A: Yes. But, Not recommended there is no deep pan filter for 700r4

**Q: Will this fit under a 2000 trans am or Camaro**
A: I'm sure it would I had there's no reason it wouldn't I had to modify my crossmember because it hangs just a little bit below so I notched with a die grinder where the bolts go so I could get them in and out it also needs a tall filter you don't want your filter falling off in the bottom of the pan hope this helps
