Easy to operate. Read instructions and set up settings based on your intended use. I used a red push on filter made by Intova instead of built in dive filter. The built in filter is ok but the add on red filter gives better results overall. Used it on 8 day trip to Roatan and it took good video and still pictures while diving. The sound out of water is not real good but video is ok. This is a model camera that is several years old and priced accordingly under $100. Recommend for someone just starting out to take pictures. It does well in fresh water also. There is no flash built in. I do not see using the extra feature to attach a cable for video viewing on the surface but this option may appeal to others.I have had Intova cameras in the past and they have held up well as long as you pay attention to o ring and use silicon on it periodically. Transfering files is easy. So is charging.
