    Awesome End-of-Year Middle School Project resource

I used this for a middle school end of the year scientific investigation project.  Some of my students do not have the resources to secure materials for performing a wet lab investigation at home on their own.  I was looking for a resource that provided options for student choice, that could be done in the classroom, and not break the bank.I found this book to be fantastic because:1.  11 of the 13 activities were suitable for 1-2 day experiments that could be performed in class with simple, everyday materials.2.  My 7th and 8th grade students were successful in getting each of the activities to work!  I was impressed with the robustness of the protocols.3.  The projects are guided step by step including  - initial research (with a link to a suggested website)- hypothesis  - materials and equipment list  - variables identified- easy to follow procedure- tables for collecting data- graph paper for plotting data- space for writing a conclusion
