Large size no-see-um mesh windows and doors have storm covers that can be closed for privacy. The SUV Tent features (2) gear pockets, a lantern hanging hook, and glow-in-the-dark zipper pulls. The vehicle sleeve easily disconnects, allowing you to leave the tent behind as you go about the day's adventures.

Review: Great idea - I really want to love this rent. It is such a great idea. I just wish the quality was better. The first time we used this tent, it easily ripped while carefully sliding over our truck shell door. I didn't think this was the end of the world, I own Gorilla Tape but then when we were disassembling the tent, one of the ropes snapped in half on one of the tent poles. The zipper on the door is also not very user friendly and I can see bad things coming from it. I have started a return with desertcart. I would have been happy to have it replaced but that wasn't an option. I did order another one though. I really like this tent, I just wish the quality was better. I'd be happy to pay more for a tent that was more durable. I wanted to update my review after returning my first tent and purchasing a new one; The return process was seamless and so far we've had much better luck with the new one. We used it for the first time this Labor day weekend and it was fantastic. The zipper wasn't an issue with this one and no tears, or defective tent poles this time. I would definitely recommend setting it up with another person though. Also, follow the directions and make sure you square up your vehicle with the tent when backing in. Otherwise, it wont fit properly. I would also suggest buying better tent stakes and a bigger bag to store it in. Other than that, a really cool product.
Review: 6+ years, still waterproof - difficult to erect without a partner. - We go camping about 4 times per year in varying locations, so this tent has been assembled and disassembled more than two dozen times at this point and has probably spent about 50 days in use. This has been used on the beach, in the woods, at music festivals, and in family back yards. After six years, the fabric is still completely waterproof. It's kept me and my gear completely dry and secure even in sever thunderstorms with driving rain and heavy wind. The black fiberglass poles started to de-laminate after the first 3-4 years - we've spiral-wrapped some fiber-reinforced repair tape around them to keep it going for a couple of more years, which is typical based on other tents we've owned. I wouldn't call it easy to assemble - despite only having three poles, it uses a design where it has no structural integrity until the last pole is inserted. This makes it difficult to erect unless you have a second set of hands. What's worse, the pole pockets are made from a stretchy mesh material which tends to snag the pole ends on the way through unless you have someone to carefully guide the pole through the pocket.

**Q: Why would I need this instead of a standard tent? What benefits do I get from attaching it to my SUV?**
A: We can sleep off the ground in the back of our suv.  We have a 100lb dog that sleeps with us to and he can move around in a confined area instead of in our limited space.  Another option is we don't have to unload our vehicle on trips and we keep the SUV packed and sleep on large mattress in tent and have out stuff inside with us. It beats the the "oh I forgot this in the truck and have to go out to get it for the third time"

A: It does. We have a Prius.

**Q: Will this tent wit a 2017 vw golf?**
A: this tent works with SUVs-- didn't think a golf was an SUV---- if it's a hatchback, sorta possible--- but think tent might overwhelm--- I would contact manufacturer

**Q: Will this tent fit a 2014 hyundai elantra gt?**
A: Will this work with 2021 Honda Passport?

I really want to love this rent. It is such a great idea. I just wish the quality was better. The first time we used this tent, it easily ripped while carefully sliding over our truck shell door. I didn't think this was the end of the world, I own Gorilla Tape but then when we were disassembling the tent, one of the ropes snapped in half on one of the tent poles. The zipper on the door is also not very user friendly and I can see bad things coming from it. I have started a return with Amazon. I would have been happy to have it replaced but that wasn't an option. I did order another one though. I really like this tent, I just wish the quality was better. I'd be happy to pay more for a tent that was more durable. I wanted to update my review after returning my first tent and purchasing a new one; The return process was seamless and so far we've had much better luck with the new one. *7/20/2020- one of the longer poles ended up snapping. I didn’t notice this until taking down the tent. Reached out to Rightline’s customer service and they sent out a replacement covered under warranty. They were super great to work with and very fast getting the replacement pole out. 5 stars for customer service changing review to 4 stars instead of 3. Tent worked great this weekend. even rained a little bit and we stayed dry. 06/29/2020 The main issue with this tent was getting the end to insert into the tab for the pole that goes from front to back on the top. I had the tent stretched out as much as I could and made sure that the pole itself wasnt getting hung up in the fabric and it still tore. we have a campout planned this weekend so instead of trying to deal with returning it, I sewed it... There was also a little snag on the front of the tent from factory that will probably end up turning into a hole.. if you purchase this tent be very careful trying to get that pole in. This isnt my first rodeo with a tent and I couldnt believe how hard it was to get that in. other than that the tent is a great size and the rest of the qualify is there for a $300 tent. Looking forward to using it this weekend!
