Based on the understanding of children's psychology, deep respect towards little people and the will to help children grow happy and independent (instead of training them to be skillful and obedient). Although it introduces quite complex problems, it's very informative thanks to its simple language and real-life case studies (it's very American, but most of the problems have their universal level). When we read it we realise how much our parents influenced our own lifes. Now we try to incorporate the ideas introduced by the authors. And they (usually :) ) work!

Must have for every parent! This is an eye-opening book. Based on the understanding of children's psychology, deep respect towards little people and the will to help children grow happy and independent (instead of training them to be skillful and obedient). Although it introduces quite complex problems, it's very informative thanks to its simple language and real-life case studies (it's very American, but most of the problems have their universal level). When we read it we realise how much our parents influenced our own lifes. Now we try to incorporate the ideas introduced by the authors. And they (usually :) ) work!
