Review: Great Internet Radio - Replaces an older Logitech Squeezebox. This one is much better, with more features and a remote. I just set it up, so these are my early thoughts. The sound is good for it's size. Has a 'port', vent, in back for bass response. The volume steps are a bit 'wide' for me. I prefer narrower, gradual steps for more control. The remote is great. Integrates well with radio setting, etc. The vol up, down buttons are the best I've ever used, they're diagonal, very ergonomic. In Standby mode (doesn't appear to be a power 'off' button), display alternates between time and Weather (after setting your location in settings, configuration section). You can see the PDF manual above. Tons of internet stations to explore, and can be used as a traditional FM radio with telescoping antenna in back. Nice, black stained wood grain cabinet. Very classy looking. Highly recommended.

From pushing buttons alone, in any combination, I could not set anything. One MUST carefully follow the complete instructions. What's good: I have one favorite station set such that I can push the left (of 4 buttons) and the FM station comes on (WIFI). And I have a different station (1010 WINS - WIFI), set to come on at 7am M-F. This has all worked fine for over a year. But 2 yrs later, and numerous times it had to be reset, I finally had to throw it away. Functionality was effectively Zero. What's not User Friendly: it's nearly impossible to manipulate the controls (without totally re-reading the instructions each time) to do anything else, like to play or add a new station.

Replaces an older Logitech Squeezebox. This one is much better, with more features and a remote. I just set it up, so these are my early thoughts. The sound is good for it's size. One MUST carefully follow the complete instructions. What's good: I have one favorite station set such that I can push the left (of 4 buttons) and the FM station comes on (WIFI). And I have a different station (1010 WINS - WIFI), set to come on at 7am M-F. This has all worked fine for over a year. But 2 yrs later, and numerous times it had to be reset, I finally had to throw it away. Functionality was effectively Zero. What's not User Friendly: it's nearly impossible to manipulate the controls (without totally re-reading the instructions each time) to do anything else, like to play or add a new station.

This was the third internet radio I tried. I sent the first back because it wouldn't hold the station and kept buffering. It was twice as expensive as Ocean. The second I sent back because I misread the fact that it had a headphone jack--it didn't. I got this ocean unit as a last shot at it and the third time was a charm. Incredibly easy to set up and easy to operate through the remote. ==I have 30 stations from London to Philly to New Jersey to New York and all over New England and I haven't read the manual yet. I know I am missing features--like how to set favorite favorites. Sound is very clear for such a small speaker and 3 watts. A bargain.
