Haven't tested it out on the road yet, as I've just installed it. But it looks great. The instructions are basic with no illustrations. But they're very well written and straightforward. Remove seat, headlight cowl, gas tank, handlebars, bolt in dash, ground, run the red wire to the battery, and reassemble. (I grounded mine to the frame as well, rather then fork triple clamp as instructed) Yes, the handlebars bolts are tough to free from the grommets, but patience and a few taps on the bolts from underneath and they were free. Looking forward to being able to charge phone and/or GPS and adding some LED's to the extra switch.
