**Q: How do I fix the charging base to the wall as the mains lead plug sticks out too far at the rear?**
A: We had to leave it on desk.  I bought two of these both stopped working after 3 months if you ha ent bought already don't bother.

**Q: Under normal use How long do the AA batteries last in the outdoor unit last before they need to be replaced?**
A: It depends on your usage rate, for example if one day 5 times batteries can last about 4~5 months.

**Q: Screen is off . How do I turn it back on pleasr**
A: Screen only lights when someone rings bell or if it’s not that try pressing and holding red button hope this helps

**Q: Can you help having trouble getting it to connect**
A: Dear Customer:

Thanks for choosing our video doorbell, please help check and make sure you've done below steps:
1. Please install 6pcs AA batteries to the outdoor camera, AA batteries are not included in the package.
2. Please install the rechargeable battery pack to the monitor, the battery pack is green color and it is included in the package.
Press power button to turn on/off the monitor.
3. Please connect the adapter to charger, if the monitor power is low please put the monitor on charger to charge its battery.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value, apart from minor difficulties.

PROS: • Very good and informative manual. • Basic installation quick and easy. • The picture, while not wonderful, is sufficient to identify caller. • Using with the PIR sensor turned off works well. A flashing light shows that someone has pressed the bell while you were out, and the Auto-snap feature means you have pictures of the caller. • Ease of operation. • Although there is no choice of ring tone, it does go on long enough to get to the phone, and even if you don't you still have up to 3 photos to see who it is. CONS: • Hanging the base unit on the wall was difficult because the mains lead plug projects too much. With a bit of persuasion, it can be turned sideways. • Wiring up a 12v supply to the outside unit was difficult as there is not much room between the unit and the backplate, restricting the amount of cable between them. This made it a bit awkward wiring it up. • The PIR function is largely useless, as there is a delay between activation and the taking of a picture – I have lots of photos of my empty front garden. This function is not necessary for normal operation, and I have switched it off. • The screw fixing the outside unit to its backplate is very small and easy to drop when setting up. Luckily the screwdriver provided is magnetised, but if you do lose the screw it is an M3 x 8mm Hex Pin security screw. CONCLUSIONS: Apart from the minor cons the unit works well, and I am pleased I bought it.
