My job allows me to travel to several locations and I use my Surface Pro 3 (until I replace it), to manage the things I do. The original dock though useful is to clunky so I bought the newer Surface Dock. Once I lost the adapter, I believed all hope was lost. Until this arrived.I grow skeptical of Non-OEM products. This one is different. The construction is sturdy, and the cables are nice and pliable. They don't feel flimsy or cheap. On my most recent out of state trip, it traveled well. The Surface Dock gave me no problems, which tells me that it is receiving enough power. I am once again a happy camper. I've attached three photos showing my setup (the adapter is on the right, not plugged in to the dock yet). Second picture shows the connector so you can make sure you are getting the right one. The third picture is the adapter plugged in to the Surface Dock. Perfect fit. Let me know if you have any questions. So far after nearly a month, the product is working fine. I have no idea why anyone would need a travel pouch (included) for a docking charger as most stations are permanent but it was a nice addition to the charger.
