All I had to do was splice the electrical connectors from the old broken unit on to this new one, and it worked great. The only improvement should be that they indicate which direction the ozone should flow with the replacement hose. The one-way check valve failing is usually what causes water from the tub to back-up into the electrical ozonator, causing a short and then a need for replacement. To find out - I poured water in one end. then into the other to figure out which way the ozone would flow into the tub. Now the red LED light is on the Ozone unit but it doesn't produce any ozone! I am very disappointed. I would not recommend this to a friend. I will not buy again. Pros: 1. Arrived quickly 2.
