Charges your battery fast and gets you back into the game of taking pictures. The USB cable that comes with your camera is slower and takes your camera out of the purpose of taking pictures. It is made very well and has a led meter that tells you when the battery is fully charged. That is a very good thing when wanting to know when your battery will be finished. I think Sony should have made this a standard part of the a6300 and a6500 camera package. Way better than some of their other chargers from before.
