Looking to wire up some lights on a trailer and the connections will be exposed to the elements.** A: As far as I know these connector are for low voltage lighting outdoor. Don't think they work on trailer. **Q: Can I use them for 12v audio cables on a boat?** A: I used on a chevy silverado 12v system. So I would say yes. But they are not water proof. The clips are a bit hard to close even with small wire but once fastened they stay in place. I used them for my cab lights on my truck and they cleaned up the wiring very nicely. I would definitely recommend these for anyone doing electrical work on their car.
