Review: Excellent child proofing - These have been on my cabinets for 2 years and work flawlessly. They are completely solid. Not even an adult can open your cabinets when these locks are engaged. The only downside is that sometimes if I slam a cabinet the lock engages and I have to open it with the magnet. No big deal. I've just purchased them for my son and DIL. He is installing them himself and says they're a bit involved to put on properly, but worth it. He drilled through one cabinet front, but after that superglued a collar onto his drill bit to prevent over drilling again. I keep a two magnet openers on appliances at opposite ends of the kitchen, and I bought a few extra magnets to keep as spares.

These have been on my cabinets for 2 years and work flawlessly. They are completely solid. Not even an adult can open your cabinets when these locks are engaged. the first one was the hardest to install. After that was a piece of cake. I like the latch that you flip that locks them open. A bonus since my Grandkids are only here every couple weeks. These are the only brand I found with the stay open switch. my only complaint is the magnet isn't very strong. We solved that by going to a hardware store and buying a better magnet and throwing some duct tape around it so we would not scratch the surface. therefore 4 stars was the best they get.
