Absolutely beautiful packaging.The LP itself is plain but well made.Came protected, so there was no damage.I highly recommend it for collectors and anyone who is a fan of Studio Ghibli or the sound track.

「『ラピュタ』の音楽は凄いよ！」そう評す人は多い。自分も、久石譲＋宮崎駿のタッグが生んだ最強の音楽だと思う。実は、作曲した久石譲・本人も「自分の代表作となる物が出来たと思っています」と言い切っている。では、何故、★★★なのか？ と言うと、これ、デモ音源なのである。番組のバック音楽を買った事がある人ならば、この手のBGM集を、「サウンドトラック」と言うのだと知っているだろうが。自分は、中学生だった当時、間違えてこれを買ってしまい、「本物とちょっと違う…」と微妙に不満を覚えつつ、暫く聴いていたのだった(笑)。という訳で、新たなる犠牲者(爆笑)が出ない様、この表題・この評価となっている。「ラピュタの音楽が欲しい！」と思ったなら、「

    」をまず買って欲しい。もっと聴きたくなったなら、オーケストラ盤「大樹」や、デモ音源である当「イメージアルバム」を買えばいい。あれから20年以上が経過した今、このデモ集を改めて評価するなら、取り柄の柱は「飛行石のテーマ」が収録されている事だろう。公式サウンドトラックでは全く触れられていないので、「あの曲が欲しかったのに！」という声も一部にある。また、英語圏向けにフル・オーケストラで再録音された「
