Tenderized Paperback veneer will bend to wrap a 1" radius. Grain and Color appearance variation can be expected from sheet to sheet and lot to lot, it will vary from what is pictured because it is a natural wood product. Solvent-Based adhesive is recommended. Water based adhesives are not recommended. Adhesives should be allowed to cure for 48 hours prior to finishing. Ready for light stain and/or clear finish. Great for refacing, refurbishing, and repairing furniture, shelves, cabinets, ect. All veneer should be acclimated prior to application. Surface must be clean, dry and smooth to ensure a good bond. It does need to be unrolled and laid flat for at least a few hours before use but it does not take very long to relax it and the adhesive works very well. It is much much easier to use than ones where you have to apply the glue. i have found that when applying to wood it sticks better when you do a thin layer of water based polyurethane either brushed on and sanded after or sprayed on. apply very carefully because you get only one chance to stick it on. After it sits a bit I'm gonna try some super glue, I don't fee like this is going to be an issue, but just an FYI make sure all areas of the wood are adhered before adding oil stain. (I was also able to roll this onto rounded edges, as some had asked about. Could you go over old veneer, or should it be removed first?** A: It would be better to remove old unless, old veneer is intact and capable of applying a new layer. 90% of time it's better to remove foir better adhesion. Will this "cherry " match?** A: The cherry veneer is very thin (0.032 inch including the removable backing). The veneer is also pretty light in color, so I would think you can stain it to match your other risers. I got both the narrow and the wide veneer and the narrow one was darker than the wide one. I was able to stain to match. Good luck. **Q: anyone know how well this material would hold up if applied to a '95 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon sides, then stained and sealed with epoxy..?** A: Not well ar all. Epoxy, west system or any other two part epoxy is photo reactive- uv light breaks it down, quickly. I've had GREAT results with Bristol Finish ( I'm a boat builder). It is a two part product, resin and catylist bur amazingly UV resistant! Your biggest challenge will be getting the veneer to stay "stuck" to the metal. Summer Heat and winter cold will effect the expansion of wood and metal differently thereby causing many potential adhesion problems. That's why the old woodies used 1/2" material screwed or riveted from the back side through the metal. But Bristol Finish is the best marine grade clear coat on the planet. **Q: 16 November review said "they just changed to a much lower tack adhesive."
