I figured it was time to replace the old thermometer with newer technology. Here is our feedback:• Size/Design: The thermometer is appropriately sized, with a curvature to fit the palm of the hand. It is very simple to use, with just two buttons (Head and Ear)• Effectiveness: When I tried it myself, I was able to consistently get 37 degrees Celsius (give or take a few tenths). Likewise, my mother’s temperature was closer to 39, which confirmed that she was suffering from feverish conditions. Her temperature readings were a bit more volatile, as a few were pushing 40 while others were high 37s, so be prepared for some slight volatility during a fever. Also, I would note that Head seemed to be more accurate than Ear.In summary, this thermometer fit our needs, and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a quick and generally accurate reading. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple to Use *by R***H on December 14, 2018* Seems accurate and is easy to use. I found it a bit difficult to get the one piece off when using in the ear but sweeping across the forehead is easy. I noticed on the Amazon product page when ordering there were instructions to convert from Centigrade to Fahrenheit reading and wondered why.
