## Description

Spikeball is an intense new sport that is played 2 on 2. It's sort of a funky combo of four square and volleyball. A taut Hula Hoop-sized net is placed at ankle level between a pair of two-player teams. You smack the palm-sized ball down on the net so it ricochets up at your opponents. They have up to three hits between them (just like volleyball) to control it and bounce it back to you. When they miss, you score. First team to 21 wins.

Review: Simple, and a lot more fun than you might expect - Such a simple concept - well-made and great for bringing the family together. It’s the sort of “take-it-anywhere” game that I enjoy almost as much as my granddaughter does! It also seems pretty robust to me and I don’t expect it to break. You might be able to find one cheaper somewhere else, but then the quality might not be as good.

**Q: Why is the department for this product listed as “boys”? I’m pretty sure my daughter will love it. :(**
A: Girls are not aloud to play. They can stand on sidelines and cheer and do halftime show. Just kidding, my daughters love it and better than the boys.

**Q: Can two people play or is four the minimum?**
A: Hi, I usually play with 2 people by allowing for up to 2 hits (so you can pass once to yourself) and marking a dividing line so you have to hit the ball so it lands on your opponent's side. It works pretty well but it's not as good as with 4 people

**Q: Is this a hipster sport? Does it come with a man bun net?**
A: Hard to say for sure.
Reasons for: Man bun net included. Pairs well with vinyl.
Reasons against: Not available in flannel. Very difficult to play in skinny jeans.

**Q: Is this made in USA?**
A: No, it's made in China. Their website only says they are BASED in Chicago. If you look at their wikipedia page there is a link to an interview with the founder where he talks about manufacturing in China.

Such a simple concept - well-made and great for bringing the family together. It’s the sort of “take-it-anywhere” game that I enjoy almost as much as my granddaughter does!
