They leave your hair silky smooth.Since I first bought their product they have changed their packaging shrink wrapping each bar instead of the paper wrappers. I’m really sad to have to move on to another brand. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I didn't expect to give these five stars - but they deserve it. *by N***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 9, 2018* I've always been skeptical of, and intrigued by, shampoo bars. I assumed that they would not lather well at all, that they would crumble into pieces with the first use, and that they'd last no more than maybe four or five washes. I can't speak for other shampoo bars, but the Mini Meditation shampoo bars far exceeded my expectations, clearly, from the moment I received the product. When they arrived, I immediately opened the box and could smell the product without having opened the actual bars. They smell AMAZING. Every single scent is wonderful.And then I used one of them the next day.In case this is helpful to anyone, I'll explain my hair briefly. I have long, curly, very fine hair, and I wash it like two or three times a week. By the time I wash it, it's VERY dirty. I thought these shampoo bars would not stand a chance just because my hair was so gross when I finally decided to wash it. When I first rubbed the bar into my hair, I didn't think anything was happening, but within maybe ten seconds, the bar lathered like crazy! I was able to wash my hair in about half the time it normally takes me, and I'm completely convinced that I used half as much product. I go through shampoo fairly quickly, despite washing my hair only around ten times a month, but the bar seemed to be the same size! I've used it again since then, and it STILL does not appear to be much smaller at all. If this one bar doesn't last me two months, I'll be surprised. And, bonus, my hair was not oily for the next couple days. I did not have to use dry shampoo, whereas normally I use it every day. That of course might not be the case for everyone because we all have different hair, but I also gave a shampoo bar to my sister. I told her I was in love and that she had to try it. She did, and she loved it just as much as I did. My sister has ALWAYS had a very hard time finding shampoos that lather well for her; she literally has to wash her hair in like four sections normally. She didn't have to with the bar I gave her. Like it did with me, it took her way less time to wash her hair, and she also noticed that the bar was hardly smaller at all.I sincerely hope other people love these as much as I do (I really hope the company will be able to make more scents as some point!). I know this sounds ridiculous, but I genuinely don't think I will ever want to go back to using bottled shampoos. Plus, buying these instead of bottles reduces plastic waste SO much, AND you're helping out a small business. Also soaps are made in China, which I do not mind but Mini Meditations claim they are hand made - more specifics would be helpful and better for advertisement - what does it mean "trusted source"? The scents are nice, would not say they are overpowering. The soaps foams good and fast, not sure about long term effect on hair yet, tried it a few times. Also wish it was mentioned what type of glycerol is used - plant or animal based?
